Jacki Crandell was an outspoken, expressive, and caring woman who devoted many years of her life to serving her community and being a teacher. From fundraising and teaching special needs students to planning and organizing community parades for 15 years, Jacki understood the importance and power in using one’s voice to their fullest. She was never afraid to express herself; so when Jacki discovered how Podium works with students on how to best express themselves, the mission resonated with her. Podium welcomed Jacki’s daughter and family to Richmond with open arms, and she has been a donor to Podium for nearly 8 years. We are saddened by the loss of such a magnificent woman. Jacki’s family has requested that in lieu of flowers, her friends, family, and neighbors, make a donation to Podium in her honor.
